IFTA is currently inviting applications from all Irish film and television professionals to join its Membership. IFTA is a not-for-profit all-Ireland organisation that promotes, encourages and rewards creative excellence in film and television.

Established in 2006, the Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) has over 1,000 active Members and is comprised of Irish and international professionals working in the film and television industries.

The benefits of IFTA Membership:

In addition to voting in the annual Irish Film & Television Awards, IFTA Members are regularly invited and given access to exclusive premiere and preview screenings of the latest Irish and international film titles; Masterclasses with award winning Irish and international experts; industry workshops and socials / networking events.

In addition, there are a large range of special offers and discounts available from IFTA’s industry affiliates with your IFTA Membership card. These offers include 2 for 1 cinema deals, discounts on training and equipment hire, reduced price trade magazine subscriptions, restaurant deals and concession rates on all the major Irish Film Festivals.

IFTA has three levels of Membership options available to applicants; Full Member (€100), Associate Member (€80) and Student Member (€50).

Applicants can select one of fourteen IFTA chapters to join:
