Offaly
Home to the famous Tullamore Dew and Irish mist whiskeys County Offaly has ample treasures to be discovered. Boasting some of the last remaining peatland in Europe on Clara and Mongans Bog, the countryside and landscape are both of historical importance. Separated from Roscommon and Galway in the west of the county by the majestic river Shannon, Offaly is home to one of Irelands most prestigious monastic settlements at Clonmacnoise. Offering golfing, fishing and water based sports visitors are sure to be entertained.
